With more than 3,000 visitors a year, the Loro Sexi Ornithological Park is one of the key places to visit in Almuñécar.

Just 100 m from the sea, located on the slopes of the San Miguel Castle, it has an important collection of birds belonging to 100 different species. A selection which has room for both the common pigeon and the spectacular peacock, and includes eye-catching parrots, toucans, cockatoos, macaws, swans and ducks.

A beautiful cactus garden completes the visit to the park.
