Festival Internacional de Jazz de Granada

About

45th edition

The Granada International Jazz Festival is one of the oldest and most important in Europe and the only Spanish member of the European network of jazz festivals "Europe Jazz Network".

Since the celebration of the first Festival in 1980, its history has run parallel to that of modern jazz and its main figures, national and international, such as Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson, Charlie Haden, Art Blakey, Tete Montoliu, Dizzy Gillespie, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Chano Domínguez and a long etcetera...

The presence of such names has created a real jazz  movement in Granada

The festival program takes place, mainly, at the Isabel La Católica Theater,
