The Mijas Fair will be held from September 7 to 12. A very complete program designed to enjoy with the family that will feature "Camela, Medina Azahara, Marta Quintero and a young night with Alba Dreid". The proclamation will be in charge of the Mijas journalist Mari Carmen Jaime on the 6th. It will be in the auditorium of Mijas Pueblo Miguel González Berral from 9:00 p.m. 

Day 7

On the 7th there will be the parade of giants and bigheads from  7:00 p.m. departing from the City Hall. Later, at about 10:00 p.m., the government team will welcome the  festivities with the switching on of the artistic lighting and inauguration of the fairgrounds. That same night the  queen, king, ladies and companions of the Mijas Fair 2026 will be chosen. 

Procession

September 8 will be the big day of Mijas, as the feast of the  Virgen de la Peña, patron saint of the municipality and  perpetual mayor of Mijas, is celebrated. In the morning, at 11:30 a.m., in  the church of the Immaculate Conception, the ringing of bells will be made and, later, the mass in honor of  the Virgin. At  night, around 9:00 p.m., the procession will take place through  the most emblematic streets of Mijas Pueblo.  

That same day, previously, at 1:30 p.m., the inauguration of the day fair will have taken place in La Muralla. In addition to the traditional bars, there will be musical performances.  

Day 9

On the 9th, the election of the children's king and queen is scheduled. Children  will be able to register for the draw for the election from  8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Booth. Also, thinking of the little ones, there will be the children's performance of the 'K-Pop Warriors' and, at night, at 11:00 p.m., there will be the  Camela concert with free admission until full capacity is reached. 

Day 10

On Thursday, September 10, the day fair will continue and will be the performance of the  Medina Azahara group in the Municipal Booth from 00:00 hours.  

Day 11

The elderly will be the main protagonists on September 11. It will be the tribute dinner to the elderly in the Municipal Booth, a  traditional event with which they want to recognize this sector of  the population. It will begin at 10:30 p.m. and in the course of the process, the Grandfather and Grandmother of the Mijas Fair will be selected by lottery. The dinner will be offered to all the seniors who, after registration in the Department of the Elderly, have previously collected  the invitation. During the night, from 11:30  p.m., Marta Quintero will perform.

Day 12

On September 12, the last day, the bicycle ride is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. and the day fair will continue with performances in La Muralla. In the afternoon, around 6:00 p.m., there will be the running of the bulls simulated starting from the Cañada de Gertrudis and an hour later the horseback ride  will take place. And in the Municipal Booth it will be the youth night with the concert of DJs Michael Stiven, Cohelo and Alba Dreid.
