On Tuesday, July 21st , jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall returns to Starlite Occident. She is known worldwide as one of the most influential and successful artists of the genre in recent decades and is the only jazz singer who has managed to place 8 albums in the debut of the first place on the prestigious BILLBOARD JAZZ ALBUMS list.
Her musical style is characterized by the combination of her "cool and sultry" voice (fresh and sensual) and rhythmic sophistication on the piano.
Among her most important productions are: "When I look in your eyes" (1999), the album that catapulted her internationally and earned her her first Grammy nomination for Album of the Year and "The Look of Love" (2001), one of her best-selling albums.
